Mike was so cool! I remember him singing 'Electric Avenue' on the school bus after school. I also remember people calling him Michael Del Taco and Mikey Shegallo! He was a fun friend to be around. I miss him and visit his grave often. If I remember correctly, his birthday is August 1st...the day of our reunion.
I knew Mike from Gym class. Coach Tighe hated that Mike was so full of energy and loved to make people laugh. He was an all around fun guy and fun to be around. Miss you bro.

I can remember many times when a teacher would want to or try to use behavior management techniques and they would just give up because his charm and charisma were so powerful you could feel the up beat personality he had from a mile away. I have a crystal clear image of his beautiful sister and the sadness she carried in her eyes after his passing. Michael was a shining star and a beacon of the vitality of life.
Michael Anthony Delgado was one of the BEST friends I EVER had. In fact, he was more like a brother to me than a friend. He had an infectious smile and ALWAYS made me laugh! I miss him so much and, even though 1985 seems like a lifetime ago, I love him just as much today as I loved him then. I know he is always with me and I hope he knows how much of an impact he had on my life and how much I loved him!!
